Unfortunately the room was covered in graffiti, so we needed to seal the wall with Zinsser Cover Stain to stop it from bleeding through the applied paint colour. We then fixed all holes in the room, and got a builder to come and re-gib the larger ones for us.

We then taped and plastered all the re-gibbed parts of the room with a three coat plaster system, let dry, then returned to sand and prime. Next we put 2 coats of ceiling white on the ceiling, followed by 2 coats on the walls, and finally 2 coats on the dark feature wall. It’s looking and feeling a lot more homely now!
